The Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Dissolve yeast and mix dough

    In a bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm milk. Add melted butter, then mix in the flour and salt.

  2. Step 2

    Knead and let dough rise

    Knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rise for 1.5 to 2 hours.

  3. Step 3

    Form dough balls with cheese

    Divide the dough into 16 pieces. Place a cube of cheese inside each piece and shape into balls.

  4. Step 4

    Arrange dough balls and let rise

    Arrange the dough balls side by side in a round tray and let them rise for 30 minutes.

  5. Step 5

    Prepare dough surface for baking

    Brush the buns with egg yolk or milk for a golden finish.

  6. Step 6

    Bake and prepare garlic butter

    Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes. While baking, mix the softened butter, grated garlic, and parsley together.

  7. Step 7

    Brush bread with garlic butter and serve

    Brush the warm bread generously with the garlic butter while still hot. Serve warm.
